However, this video is a look back at the roots of the system; before Jim Wagner entered law enforcement. Wagner had mixed the various martial arts he had studied, along with his U.S. Army training, and began teaching this early form of Reality-Based publicly in 1987 before Mixed Martial Arts came onto the scene.
