Staying Hydrated

Drink Plenty of WaterNow that it is summer and everyone is outside enjoying the weather, it becomes more and more important to stay hydrated.  Why should you stay hydrated?  Your body needs water to survive; over half your body weight is made up of water, which is lost all the time through sweat, going to the bathroom, and even breathing.  During the summer (and in hot climates) you lose it a lot faster when you are in the sun and staying active.  You need at least 8 glasses of water per day to stay perfectly hydrated in order for all your organs and cells to operate right and stay healthy.

So get out there and enjoy the weather this summer…and stay hydrated!
